WINNER - SCULPTURE ADULT "Wormie" by Finn Renner
Wormie represents the can of worms I often open within myself during the therapeutic process, as I put puzzle pieces together and work through a foggy mind. His outer appearance of being A-Ok is in contrast with the turmoil of his inner experience. As the puzzle pieces are put together his outer and inner realities begin to integrate and make sense.
HIGHLY COMMENDED "Barbed Wire Heart" by Aaron
"The Check In" by Erin Hall
This piece was thought up sitting in a line to get a PCR test at Katoomba Hospital. Covid times felt like it was one QR code scan after another with no one really checking in with people how we were really going. No chats at the coffee shop, no incidental conversations. This piece was my way of expressing that we are human beings not QR codes and came about from my grief of losing those incidental check ins with the community around us. I was thinking about the uniqueness of QR codes and fingerprints and identity in general. I feel we are still carrying scars from those times and these scars can be honoured.
"Stuck in Between" by Suba Bale
“Stuck In Between” is an interesting handmade sculpture that masterfully captures the essence of contradiction and conflict. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail to give an unfinished look; it seamlessly blends form and concept, inviting viewers to contemplate the two layers of its meaning.
"Shelter" by T Turmer
Colourful shelter with space to let the sunshine and breezes in.
"Consent" by K
‘CONSENT’ /kənˈsɛnt/ noun
Permission for something to happen or agreement to do something.
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Adapted from the ‘3 wise monkeys’. If I cannot see or hear the evil, I will not speak of the evils that have been perpetrated. What has the teacher taught? Consent was not given, she will be blind, deaf and silent, therefore it did not happen!?

"Ogbar painting tree tool people" by Monique Donaldson
These paint brush tool people are designed as characters to use as a painting tool and a cutting tool. They have paintbrush heads and tails and some have sharp cutting tools. Each one has a personality and is unique in design.
"Time for Tea" by Livonne Larkins
I've always associated strongly with Alice in Wonderland. My dreams are every bit as surreal and crazy as Alice's. So I wanted to bring my own style to the Mad Hatter with all recycled materials and papier mache.
"It's Always Time For Tea" by Rose Fitzpatrick
I used a tea cup and saucer and built a wonderland scene in it. Materials include fake moss, 2 wooden badges, a metal key, ceramic figures and a little bottle I filled with water I dyed blue.
"Rising Above Negatives" by Ariel Eddie
The work is inspired by rising above and out of the tendrils of negativities.
"Happy Thoughts" by Bethany Fairbairn
"Post Traumatic Growth 1" by Michelle Exhales
Hiya, my name is Michelle. I’m a psychologist and artist. I have the traits of ‘sensory processing sensitivity’, ‘high sensation seeking’, 'hyperphantasia' and have experienced post-traumatic growth. I refer to myself as a ‘creative contemplative artist’ because I make art as a meditation, a contemplation, an act of kindness and a prayer. I make art as a way of investigating and understanding my own nature and the nature of the cosmos. And just for the fun and joy of it!
