WINNER - PHOTOGRAPHY - ADULT Samantha Lee Curran "depth of your blue"
Primarily, I am a poet, and I believe that poetry is often overlooked because there is no instant gratification in viewing it like you would an artwork. I wanted to create something tangible and bring my poetry off the page. The busy background, the reflections on the glass and my handwriting may be distracting and make it difficult to read the poem, however, this encourages you to look closely and carefully to take it in. You might have to move angles to read, but the purpose is to make you truly look and see things from a different perspective.
HIGHLY COMMENDED PHOTOGRAPHY - ADULT "Rolling Light" by Kate Mackenzie
"Floral Patterns" by Taïs Turner
The patterns inside flowers are so amazing, I never tire of photographing them. Every one is a new and exciting discovery of the hidden beauty within, waiting to be revealed. This has parallels with our human selves. If we are willing to look, we will see intricacies inside each of us. I aim to never stop being curious.
"Hope for New Life" by Murray
"Behind the Mask" by Livonne Larkins
Too often we wear a mask to hide our flaws. But our true selves, scars, flaws and all are more beautiful than the false masks we hide behind.

"Moments of Reflection" by Kylie Marshall
I love being outside in nature and watching the clouds. Seeing the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer. Even on the hard days, when the anxious thoughts are often on repeat, I remember that I am a part of something bigger and I can find the calm within. There is always something to be grateful for – even if it’s just a sunset.

"Acceptance in Full Bloom" by Casey Gray
“Acceptance in Full Bloom” captures the profound well-being cultivated through introspection and self-acceptance. This creation embodies the recognition of our innate beauty, often we only observe in others, as we embrace our physical, social, and emotional selves. The fusion of image and sentiment evokes a deep sense of understanding, inviting others to embark on their own path of self-discovery.
"Mist in the Trees" by Greenhalgh Photography

"Post Traumatic Growth 4" by Michelle Exhales
Hiya, my name is Michelle. I’m a psychologist and artist. I have the traits of ‘sensory processing sensitivity’, ‘high sensation seeking’, 'hyperphantasia' and have experienced post-traumatic growth. I refer to myself as a ‘creative contemplative artist’ because I make art as a meditation, a contemplation, an act of kindness and a prayer. I make art as a way of investigating and understanding my own nature and the nature of the cosmos. And just for the fun and joy of it!
"Grounding" by Ivy Grant
It is done, you are safe, it is golden.
