WINNER "The Scream" by The Glenbrook Centre
Students and staff worked on this weaving which was part of their Visual Arts subject. Students learnt about emotional states and experiences of the artist Edvard Munch in the days when Mental Health was not talked about openly, or understood. It is a direct expression of many intense emotions such as fear anxiety, grief etc. and recognition of these universal feelings at times in our lives. The colours are important in the art work and add to the intensity of feeling as well as highlighting the subject's connection with the environment.

HIGHLY COMMENDED "Creative Mind in Chaos" by Zenn Fox
I used a unique colour scheme to convey emotions through painting. I swirled a rainbow sea of hues onto an acrylic paint transfer then gently pressed the paint into the fabric creating a swirling ocean of colours and feelings.
