WINNER "The Three Amigos" by Karen Stevenson
I’ve created these needle felted chickens to bring smiles. My chickens bring me happiness, their greedy little eyes, their bouncy little butts when they run through the yard always make me smile. They are therapy with feathers.

HIGHLY COMMENDED "Dual Warmth" by Misha Maddock

"Turbulent Times" by Adelaide Worcester
Being the target of toxic behaviours feels so confronting and personal. Behind the overt aggressions lie daily pin-pricks that are so hard to call out. Experiencing bullying while living with PTSD delayed my recovery, but making this artwork has been part of my healing journey.

Mum, Lights and I were away last year for a bit of stress relief and were in a lovely granny craft shop in Kandos and I got some threads, and to help my mental health sat down and did this sunflower, really helped and made me very happy.

"Driftwood Dreamcatcher" by Sarah

"White Jacket" by Nicki Basedow

"Patchwork Duo Skirts - Day and Night" by Monique Donaldson
The skirts force me to use both hands in craft, as I have had a stroke, my left hand is disabled, this makes sewing a challenge. The frustration in sewing also affects my mental health as I have multiple disabilities. But I have been able to produce two skirts with a patchwork pattern.

Created during an in-person workshop with the A Creative Outlet (ACO) group in 2024. It’s good to get together on-site as a supplement to our online sessions, with so many mediums to explore.
